Enrique Grové het 'n eerste plek behaal in die nasionale finaal van Radikale Redenaars in Engels en word daarom ook vereer met Adamantia se Prestige-witbaadjie vir sy uitsonderlike prestasie. Kyllin van der Westhuizen en Wildré Roberts ontvang die Springbok-toekenning vir Landsdiens. Saam met hierdie toekenning ontvang hulle ook erekleure. Dutoitspan is saam met die Roberts-gesin trots op Wildré se mooi prestasie. 

Ada Rheeder (2e van links) is ook 'n aktiewe Dutoitspanner en oudonderwyser wat nog steeds baie nou betrokke by die landsdiens is. Sy is die voorsitter van die Noord-Kaapse Landsdiens en bevind haar dikwels agter die stuur op pad iewers heen - Êrens of is dit nêrens Noord-Kaap? Haar passie, toewyding en bydrae maak 'n groot verskil, nie net by die Landsdiens nie, maar ook by die lede en kinders wie se lewens sy aanraak.

Lillian Brummage, die kaptein van die noodhulpspan, ontvang namens die skool erkenning vir hulle onbaatsugtige hulp en ondersteuning aan die Suid-Afrikaanse Nasionale Bloeddiens.

Monique's fight against cancer

Hi everyone!

I am raising funds for my cousin Monique Grove. She is a 21 year old young lady from Kimberley in the Northern Cape currently fighting Hodgkin's Lymphoma Cancer. She was first diagnosed in her matric year of 2021. Since then she has overcome numerous battles such as rewriting matric exams and receiving extreme radiation multiple times. She is a remarkable person and is always smiling through all she has experienced and is always ready to fight any battle she comes across !

Currently, she has received stem cell transplant therapy and now needs to receive 6 weeks of radiation in Bloemfontein. The family will need 6 weeks worth of accommodation, food and transport for her mother to and from the hospital to the accommodation

Her mother (my aunt) Dalene Grove is a full time nurse and has sacrificed countless hours to provide for her family. Her father works long hours to provide financially to the best of his capabilities. They do not have a medical aid and Monique has been receiving all her treatments from a wonderful oncologist in the Robert Mangaliso Sobukwe Hospital in Kimberley.

With your generous contributions, we can provide Monique and her family with the financial support they need during this difficult time.
