In a certain town stood a beautiful church on a prominent corner; but it was a dead church.
One night the church burned to the ground, and as it burned, among the crowd which gathered was a young man who had no time for religious matters.
"This is the first time I have seen you coming to church," said somebody who happened to notice him.
"Yes," was the reply, "but this is the first time the church has been on fire."
