A miner who had to work underground six days a week, with four miles to walk, to his work and four back, was a regular churchgoer. Although this involves a long walk, he could be seen at public worship on Sunday morning and evening.
Someone once said to him, "After your exhausting week, I am surprised you still have the energy to go to church."
"Energy?" he replied, "Why, I go there to get the energy that I require during the week."
